Happy New Year!

We are so blessed and stressed.

Mr. Graff got time off work because of the holidays, so we packed up the boys and went to the other side of the island to explore. We first stopped at the Laie temple. Rae keeps talking about going back and playing in Jesus' pool.

"Why does Jesus have a swimming pool?"

The Nativity was still up.

Joe loves to (climb the stairs to) see the temple.

We stopped at Kahuku and had food truck food---BBQ pork sticks and banana lumpia. Kinda sad that the Fiji Curry House was closed. Then travelled on till we saw a beach we wanted to stop at. By the way, this is the most expensive highway ever built at a staggering $100 million per mile.

Rae loved playing in the sand (pretending to be a dog and throwing sand) until we convinced him to play in the waves. Then he loved the waves.

That face. Mr. Graff wanted to point out that Cal's face is a salty, sandy, crusty mess. He's our sand crab.

We forgot sunscreen and were glad for the overcast skies. Hate to get sunburn in January…

Happy 2016!

Maple Syrup Festival

We went to the Maple Syrup Festival @Cunningham Falls State Park today. The weather was *gorgeous* and the crowds not horrifying.  We star...
